I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and children. I have specialized training in perinatal (pregnancy/postpartum) issues and transitioning to parenthood. You can find me on Postpartum Support International’s, Perinatal Support Washington’s, and the Pregnancy and Postpartum Health Alliance of Texas’ list of qualified practitioners for perinatal care. I provide a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients and have proficiency in working with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, trauma, and challenging relationships. I also offer professional consultations for mental health professionals..
Qualifications
Kendra Foisie Rice is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) seeing clients virtually throughout all of Texas and Washington. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas where she graduated with honors. She also holds a postgraduate certificate in Professional Applications of the Expressive and Creative Arts from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. Kendra has pursued advanced trainings to become a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C). She spent time as a clinician in group practice before opening her private practice, Humanity Psychotherapy in 2022.
