Welcome, I’m glad you are here.
Kendra Foisie Rice LMHC Supervisor, LPC, NCC, PMH-C
Do I need therapy?
I may be biased (I am a therapist after all!), but the answer is yes.
We live in a world that prioritizes physical health, while mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being are often treated as afterthoughts. But here’s the truth: health is whole—you can’t separate the body from the mind or the spirit. When your inner world is hurting, it inevitably shows up in your body and in your life.
Think about it this way—if you broke your arm, you wouldn’t hesitate to see a doctor. You’d get the care you need without question. So why do we second-guess ourselves when it comes to emotional pain or mental health struggles? Your brain is an organ too—arguably the most important one—and like any part of the body, it deserves support when it’s not functioning at its best.
It’s not “all in your head.” Just like a cough isn’t “all in your lungs.”
Mental health is health.
And if you’re here, reading this—yes, therapy could help. We all need support. You’re not broken, you’re human. And you deserve care.
My Approach
Every small action has the potential to create big change.
I offer a warm, grounded, and straightforward space for healing—where you can show up exactly as you are. I believe that authenticity is the heart of meaningful therapeutic work, and I bring that same realness into the room with you.
My approach is holistic, honoring the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. I draw from a blend of existential and cognitive-behavioral theories, weaving in mindfulness-based practices to support you in finding clarity, balance, and resilience.
Life isn’t always easy, and we all deserve a safe, supportive space to navigate the twists and turns. So let’s sit down, talk it through, maybe even share a laugh, and help you find a path forward that feels true to you.
